Support RMOUG - Volunteer!

Run for the Board!

Rocky needs your help to continue the mission of RMOUG.
RMOUG is currently looking for individuals and corporations to volunteer to serve on the RMOUG Board of Directors; to help deliver webinars, educational workshops, and our annual Training Days conference; and to help lead our special interest groups.

RMOUG is a non-profit Colorado Corporation run by volunteers. Each May RMOUG holds its Annual Meeting and its members elect the RMOUG Board of Directors for the next Fiscal Year which starts June 1st. During the June Board meeting, the Board will select members of its Board to be President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, and other roles such as Membership Director, Marketing Director, Webmaster, Scholarship Director, Newsletter Director, and Training Days Director. Each Board member is expected to attend the Monthly Board Meeting Conference calls and to contribute 8 to 20 hours per month on RMOUG business.

If you are interested in learning more about volunteering to support RMOUG or serving on the RMOUG Board, please contact our RMOUG President, or Peggy King

  • Help communicate and coordinate with our members
  • Help with our quarterly educational workshops and webinars
  • Give a presentation at a quarterly educational workshop or webinar
  • Gather news items and technical content for our website and publications
  • Help plan and advertise Training Days 2021
  • Review abstracts for Training Days
  • Monitor sessions at Training Days
  • We are looking at growing our communities (formally known as SIGs) and want our members to lead them: Database, Analytics, Developer (APEX, JAVA, PL/SQL), and DevOps
